DRAWING & PAINTING
This course offers a continued expansion of one's exploration in the world of art. Advanced drawing and painting techniques will be taught using a variety of materials including charcoal, pencil, pen and ink, scratch board, pastels, print making, watercolors, and acrylics. Creative growth and a high level of skill are emphasized, with all students required to be self-motivated and capable of working independently. Weekly sketchbook drawings outside of class are required. Students will be evaluated on effort, critiques, projects, sketchbook, and a final portfolio.
There is a course fee of $20.00 for the semester. This includes all basic materials such as pencils, paper, and paints. Please pay at the Main Office and bring your receipt to Ms. Johnson.
